I’m a scientist in the nano and biotech areas and an avid knitting and indie dyer. My grandmother taught me to knit when I was about 8 years old and I first started dyeing yarn with my mom when I was about 10. In fact, I still have some of the original yarn that I dyed with acorns and tea leaves!
